عمليات تصحيح النظر وأثرها [نسخة خفيفة]

خلال رحلتي من شيكاغو الى الكويت كان هناك صديق لي على متن رحلة الخطوط الجوية الكويتية " كابتن الطائرة " واستضافني داخل كبينة القيادة وخلال الحديث سألته عن سبب عدم قيامة بإجراء عملية تصحيح النظر " ليزك " حتى يترك لبس النظارة الطبيه فأجاب أنه لو أجرى العملية فسوف يفقد إجازة القيادة .......!!
السؤال هل هو إجراء متبع في جميع شركات الطيران في العالم ؟ وما هو أثره على سلامة الطيران و الرحلة .
إن امكن الاجابة على السؤال من المختصين أو الطيارين في شركات الطيران .

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

لا يوجد أي مضاعفات أو مشاكل من عملية تصحيح النظر
فبعد أن يجري الشخص عملية تصحيح النظر - يتوجب عليه إعادة - فحص قياس النظر - لدى طبيب الطيران المختص بذلك.
لا يوجد مشكلة حسب الإجراءات المتبعة للسلامة الجوية في FAA منذ عام 2005
وحتى لو كان ضعف النظر بسيط جداً (وكنت سوف تدرس الطيران) على حسابك الخاص ، فإنه لا يوجد مشكلة بإذن الله
أما إن كنت سوف تلتحق بالكلية الجويسة أو تلتحق بإحدى شركات الطيران ، فإنه كما و ضحت لك في المشاركة السابقة

According to the Federal Air Surgeon's Medical Bulletin, Fall 1998, the FAA accepts LASIK for its pilots, as long as the FAA examining doctor finds "the post-operative condition has stabilized," pilots have "no significant adverse effects or complications" and their eyes meet "the appropriate vision standards" one to six months post-operatively.

The bulletin states that it is the pilot's responsibility to have his or her doctor send a copy of a report documenting outcomes to the Aeromedical Certification division in Oklahoma City. What is LASEK
LASEK is a relatively new surgery that utilizes a trephine to create an epithelial flap (as opposed to a deeper stromal flap with LASIK) and an alcohol solution to preserve the epithelial cells. Once the epithelial flap is created and lifted, the treatment proceeds as for traditional PRK, with light smoothing at its conclusion. Then, the epithelial flap is repositioned with a small spatula.
