تحطمت طائرة خفيفة من نوع سيسنا 172 عند الساعة 11:40 صباحاً أثناء رحلة تدريبية ، وقد وقع الحادث بعد أن هبطت الطائرة في المدرج (توتش اند قو) ومن ثم محاولة الإقلاع مرة أخرى مما سبب في وقوعها في الشارع العام خارج أسوار المطار شمال مطارِ متنزهِ لينكولن، وكان على متن الطائرة شخصان هما طالب طيران ومعلمة.
حدثت إصابات خفيفة لكلا الشخصين، تم على أثرها نقلهم إلى مستشفى تشيلتن التذكارية لتحقق من صحتهما

LINCOLN PARK — A student pilot and his instructor walked away with only minor injuries Sunday morning after their plane crashed outside a local airport.
Robert Daniels, 59, of Pequannock, and Thomas Gerecs, 36, of Hackensack, were able to climb out of the 2000 Cessna 172S aircraft just north of the Lincoln Park Airport with the assistance of some passersby, police said.
Daniels, a student pilot, overshot the runway about 11:40 a.m., but when he tried to take off again after touching down, the plane crashed through a fence, flipped over and landed on Jacksonville Road, authorities said.
The FAA is investigating the accident. No one was injured on the ground.
Daniels was taken by the Pequannock First Aid Squad to Chilton Memorial Hospital with minor injuries and Gerecs refused medical attention, police said.
Jacksonville Road was shut down for about five hours while the plane was removed from the roadway.
The four-seat plane is owned by Aero Safety Training Ltd., a flight school operated out of Lincoln Park airport. No one was available at the school or the airport for comment

أوردت الأنباء بأن الطائرة التي تحطمت في مطارِ مارك أنتون في يتونا بيتش عصر الأحد، كان الحادث الأول الذي يقع في المطار منذ ثلاث سنوات بحسب إفادة لواندا فويلمر المدير المسؤل للمطار.
وقد أنحرفت طائرة من نوع سيسنا 140 عند الساعة 2:03 عصراً بعد أن أنزلقت حوالي 200 قدم في نهاية المدرج مما أدى إلى تحطمها وأشتعال النيران فيها. ويذكر ا،ه لا يوجد بالطائرة سوى الكابتن، الذي خرج سالماً ولم يصب بأذى
يذكر أن الطائرة كانت مزودة بـ 24 جالون من الوقود في كل جناح والتي تكفيها للطيران لمدة تتراوح مابين 30-40 دقيقة.
وقد تسرب بعض الوقود يقدر بـ 10 جالونات من جناح الطائرة الأيسر إلا أن رجال الأطفاء تمكنوا من إطفاء النيران و إزالة أثر تسرب الوقود على الأرض.

A small airplane crashed at the Mark Anton Airport in Dayton Sunday afternoon. It was the first accident at the airport in more than three years, according to Wanda Fulmer, the airport manager.
The plane, a Cessna 140 single engine craft piloted by Bryan Bassler of Birchwood, occurred at 2:03 p.m. according to a Dayton Fire Department incident report.
The left landing gear of the aircraft collapsed upon landing, according to a preliminary report by the Federal Aviation Administration’s Flight Standards District Office in Nashville.
“He was coming in for a landing and a small gust of wind caught him,” Fulmer said. “He overcompensated and hit the runway harder than normal and his left main landing gear collapsed.”
Fulmer said the plane skidded about 200 feet down the runway before coming to a stop. The Cessna’s left wing tip was also broken off by the impact.
There were no passengers in the two-seat aircraft, and the pilot was uninjured, according to Fulmer.
“There was fuel leakage and the fire department was concerned that it might catch fire, but it didn’t,” Fulmer said.
Two DFD engines and five firefighters arrived seven minutes after the crash and remained at the airport for two hours to observe the fuel leak. The pilot advised the firefighters that the plane’s maximum fuel capacity was 24 gallons, with 12 gallons in each wing. He said that he had been in the air for approximately 30-40 minutes.
The incident report states that an estimated eight to 10 gallons of fuel leaked from the plane’s left wing tank. The leak stopped after 15 minutes and no fuel left the runway, according the report. The fuel was allowed to evaporate.
Firefighters remained on the scene until the plane was loaded on a trailer and moved to a hangar for storage. Max Hackett can be reached at
