اختفت طائرة صغيرة كانت تقلّ على متنها أربعة رجال أعمال بريطانيين من شاشات الرادار في البرازيل، السبت.
وقال مسؤولون حكوميون إنّ الطائرة، التي كانت تقلّ أيضا طيارين، اختفت قرب سواحل ولاية باهيا، شمال شرق البرازيل.
وقال المسؤول في شركة أيروستار مالكة الطائرة، فيرناندو ميلو، إنّ الطائرة كانت قد غادرت عاصمة الولاية سلفادور في حدود الخامسة عصر الجمعة بالتوقيت المحلي.
وأضاف أنّه كان من المفترض أن تصل الطائرة، وهي من طراز سيسنا 310 ذات محركين، إلى مدينة إلهويس، الساحلية، بعد ساعة من إقلاعها.
وكان آخر اتصال بين الطائرة وأبراج المراقبة في حدود الخامسة وخمس وأربعين دقيقة أي قبل نحو 10 دقائق من موعد هبوطها المقرر.
وتقوم السلطات بعملية تفتيش في محيط 123 ميلا من المحيط الأطلسي قصد العثور على الطائرة ومن كان على متنها.

Brazilian plane carrying four British businessmen disappears off Bahia
Rescuers are searching for four Britons missing after their plane disappeared off the coast of Brazil.

The Foreign Office confirmed that Alan Kempson, Sean Woodall, Ricky Every and Nigel Hodges were on board.

According to reports, the Britons are businessmen who are involved in the tourist industry and own hotels and apartments in Brazil's tropical Bahia region.

The search was launched after the twin-engine Cessna 310 in which they were travelling lost contact with air-traffic controllers minutes before it was due to land in the coastal city of Ilheus on Friday night.
A Foreign Office spokeswoman said: "I can confirm that there were four passengers, all four of whom were British, and two pilots."
The spokeswoman added that next of kin had been informed, and that no other details about the men are available. It is understood that three of the four do not live in the UK.
A number of aircraft were sent to look for the plane after it disappeared off the Atlantic coast. Brazilian authorities were also reportedly investigating eyewitnesses who said they saw a plane crash.
The flight was operated by Aero Star, a small charter firm based in Salvador, Bahia's state capital.
Ellen Duarte, business manager for Aero Star, said the Cessna made its final contact with the Ilheus control tower at 5.43pm local time (2143 BST) as it flew south from Salvador. "It was flying perfectly," Ms Duarte said. "The pilot said he was making a visual approach to the airport, and that was the last we heard."
Brazil's coastguard and three Aero Star helicopters searched for signs of a crash, but found nothing, she said. Bahia state police and air rescue have also joined the search.

The twin-engine Cessna 310 disappeared 13 kilometres off the beach-lined coast just nine minutes before it was to land Friday afternoon in the colonial harbour town of Ilheus, said the airline's business manager, Ellen Duarte.
Duarte declined to identify the passengers, but said that they own hotels and tourist condominiums in Brazil's tropical Bahia state.
A spokeswoman for Britain's Foreign Office in London identified the passengers as Alan Kempson, Sean Woodall and Ricky Every. A fourth man had not yet been identified.
The Cessna made its final contact with the Ilheus control tower at 5:43 p.m. local time as it flew south from Salvador, Bahia's state capital, Duarte said.
Weather had been good and pilots reported no problems with the plane.
"Some people reported they saw a plane crash, but we have no confirmation yet," Edylson Pereira dos Santos, superintendent of Brazil's Infraero airport authority, told the Globo News network on Saturday morning.

برازيليا: قالت شركة طيران برازيلية يوم السبت ان طائرة صغيرة تحمل ستة اشخاص من بينهم اربعة رجال اعمال بريطانيون اختفت على الساحل الشمالي الشرقي للبرازيل.
وصرح متحدث باسم شركة ايروستار بان الطائرة المملوكة للشركة وهي من طراز سيسنا 310 اختفت خلال رحلتها من سلفادور الى بلدة ايلهيوس الساحلية بعد ظهر الجمعة.
واضاف ان اخر اتصال لها مع برج مراقبة ايلهيوس كان في الساعة 5.43 مساء بالتوقيت المحلي وذلك قبل تسع دقائق من موعد هبوطها.
وشهدت البرازيل حادثي تحطم طائرتين كبيرين في 2006 و2007 واللذين اعقبهما حالة فوضى متقطعة في مطاراتها وقلق على نطاق واسع بشأن سلامة النقل الجوي.
وقال المتحدث ان برازيليين اثنين كانا يقودان الطائرة.
وذكرت وكالة جلوبو للانباء ان سوء الاحوال الجوية منع البريطانيين الاربعة من ركوب طائرة هليكوبتر في سلفادور في وقت سابق الجمعة.
وقالت ايروستار ان القوات الجوية وخفر السواحل والشرطة اوقفت بحثها بحلول الغسق يوم السبت ولكن من المقرر استئناف عملها فجر الاحد.
