U.S. Army UH-60L Black Hawk
Cairo West Air Base, Egypt, 02 October 1999 — U.S. Army personnel unload their UH-60L Black Hawk helicopters from a U.S. Air Force C-5 Galaxy at Cairo West Air Base, Egypt, for Exercise Bright Star '99/00. Bright Star is a joint/combined command post and tactical field exercise in Egypt involving over 50,000 participants from 11 countries. The annual exercise is designed to improve readiness and interoperability between U.S., Egyptian and coalition forces.
