تحطمت مروحية فرنسية من طراز EC145 في البحر الابيض المتوسط شمال جزيرة كورسيكا الفرنسية. وقد وقع الحادث عندما كانت طائرة الانقاذ المدني في مهمة لحمل أمرأة عمرها 20 سنة مع وليدها إلى المستشفى لتلقي العلاج. ووقع الحادث بالقرب من مدينة باسيتا الجبلية بسبب سوء الأحوال الجوية.

A french Hems helicopter crashed last night in the northern region of the french mediterranian island Corsica, killing all five persons on board, including a young mother with her newborn child.
France, April 26 (Reuters) - Five people were killed in a helicopter crash on the French Mediterranean island of Corsica, including a mother and the baby she gave birth to during the flight, a local official said on Sunday.

The rescue services' helicopter was taking the woman to hospital on Saturday evening when it crashed in a mountainous area near the city of Bastia in bad weather conditions.

Two pilots and a medic were also on board.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy issued a statement offering his condolences to the victims' families and saying Interior Minister Michele Alliot-Marie would visit the accident site on Sunday afternoon.

Les conditions météorologiques étaient particulièrement mauvaises: vents violents et épais brouillards (qui se dit "Nebbiu" en corse). Les personnes à bord de l'appareil, dont le pilote, le copilote, le médecin du SAMU et la femme enceinte, n'ont pas survécu.

كان مقتل الطفل الرضيع بعد دقائق على مولدة / حيث أن الولادة تمت على متن الهيلوكبتر. وفي تفاصيل الخبر أن المروحية تم أرسالها إلى عيادة في بلدة صغيرة تدعى () في شمال جزيرة كورسيكا الفرنسية لإخلاء السيدة التي كانت تعاني من آلام المخاض.
وكان على متن المروحية الطيار ومساعدة وهم بسن (56 سنة و 42 سنة) وطبيب طوارئ (43 سنة). وذكرت عمليات الطوارئ أنها لم تستقبل أي رسائل أو نداء بحالة الخطر من الطيار وكذلك لم يستقبلوا رسالة بأن هناك - حالة ولادة على متن الطائرة. وكان الرائيس ساركوزي قد نعى الحادث وقال بأنه حادث مأساوي وأمر بمتابعة التحقيق لمعرفة الأسباب.

A baby, born in mid-air in a medical helicopter, died minutes later when the aircraft crashed into Corsican mountains, killing its mother, a doctor and two pilots.President Nicolas Sarkozy today expressed his “deep distress” at the unexplained accident, which happened near Bastia in northern Corsica on Saturday night.
The civil defence helicopter was sent to a clinic in the small town of Ponte-Leccia after a 20 years old woman went into emergency labour. She was taken on a 15 minute flight to hospital in Bastia but the machine crashed into a 500 metre high ridge of the Lancone mountains in mist and high winds.
Rescue workers who located the crash site in the early hours found the bodies of the mother, a 43 years old female accident and emergency doctor and the pilots, aged 56 and 42. They also discovered the remains of the newborn baby.
No distress message was sent by the helicopter and no message to say that the baby had been born in flight.
“Both the pilots were experienced and had worked in Corsica for several years and were used to this kind of flight,” said Hervé Bouchaert, the prefect in upper Corsica. He added that the weather was “appalling”.
A statement by President Nicolas Sarkozy spoke of his “great distress” and “very great sadness” that a medical flight had ended so tragically. An investigation is under way.
