It’s time for the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup! The 17th tournament will be hosted in Egypt, in the cities of Cairo, Alexandria, Port Said, Suez and Ismailia. The gateway for the teams to Egypt would be the capital’s Cairo International Airport (HECA).
So on Friday the 25th of September become the captain of your national/favorite team’s flight to Cairo in time for the tournament.
This VATEG event will span 2 hours, from 1900Z to 2100Z, so plan your arrival to take place in this window of time for the ultimate fun of flying in heavy metal filled skies. Cairo Intl. to be fully staffed is guaranteed along with Cairo Control covering the whole of Egypt’s FIR.
And if you are not a football fan, you are very welcome to fly our skies in the way you like.
