An Air Arabia Airbus A320-200, registration A6-ANG performing flight G9-436 from Jaipur (India) to Sharjah (United Arab Emirates) with 165 people on board, was in the initial climb out of Jaipur when a bird impacted an engine (CFM56) prompting the crew to stop the climb and return to Jaipur for a safe landing.

Following repairs of an engine inlet the aircraft was able to departed as flight G9-436D the following day and and reached Sharjah with 126 people on board and a delay of 24 hours.
