How to build your CV for the Cabin Crew Open Day

تواصلت مع احدي المدارس المختصه ب Cabin Crew Open Day وتم الارسال لي هذا المعلومات عبر الايميل الخاص

NOTE: There are hundreds of people attending the Cabin Crew Open
Day Events. All of them dream to become flight attendants.
What makes you different from the other candidates?

Your only chance to be invited to participate in the Assessment Day
is to have a killer CV.

The interviewers have under 1 minute to review a CV and decide if
it belongs in the YES or in the NO pile.

Do not give them the option to reject yours!

***QUESTION FROM A READER***

Kara,

I have a few questions...

Do I have to put a photograph of me in the CV? What size?

Do I have to separate in the CV the work experience from the work
that I did without payment?

Thanks for all

M.R. from Argentina

>>>MY ANSWERS<<<

When attending a Cabin Crew Open Day, you should bring along your CV. The CV should ONLY include information about your education and experience, skills and your contact information.

The pictures should be brought separately and printed on a
photo-quality paper.

You will need a full-length picture in business attire. The
standard size of this photograph is 4x6 (10x15cm).

Also have some passport photos in the same business attire. The
standard size of passport pictures is 1.7x1.4 (4.5x3.5cm) in Europe
or 2x2 (5x5cm) in US. Whichever size is standard in your country is
absolutely fine at this point.

Your work experience should be presented chronologically, starting
with your most recent job. The following should be included:

* period of time spent at the job
* company name
* position (specify if it was part-time or volunteer)
* job description in 3-4 bullet points

To summarize, when you arrive at the Open Day you should have the following with you:
-2 copies of your CV printed on white paper
-2 copies of your references list. Include names, position and
contact information - on a separate paper than the CV. To be
provided only on request or as an attachment to your resume.
-2 full-length photos in business attire
-6 passport pictures
