We hope you haven’t given up dreaming because now is your chance to turn your dream into reality. We are looking for young UAE Nationals to become pilots with Emirates and fly one of the modern fleets in the sky.
To be eligible, you should be between 17 — 30 years old with a high school certificate, good command of English language, both written and spoken (TOEFL score of minimum 430), and have the drive to complete a challenging training program.
But before you jet off the ground, we need to confirm that you are the right person for our team. You will be required to pass a selection process which includes:
- Maths, Physics and English tests
- Pre-screening medical examination
- Assessment centre
- Psychometric and psychomotor tests
- Interview
- Flight screening
Once on board with Emirates as an Ab Initio pilot, a challenging training programme will begin. This consists of the following stages:
- Twelve months foundation course at Emirates Aviation College
- Twenty months flight training abroad
- Jet orientation course
- Six months transition course at the Emirates Aviation College
- Twelve months line training as a “Cadet Pilot” covering 120 flights

- Essential: High school certificate or equivalent
- Proficiency: Mathematics; Physics; English
Eligibility
- Age 17 years or older but less that 30 years of age
- All departments Except for EK Engineering program and flight training facility (sim engineers) who have completed more than 6 months of service [from DOJ]
