FSD is the server software in use by IVAO. It allows you to enjoy flying on the network, i.e. the software makes sure ATC can see pilots, that pilots can see other pilots etc. The software was originally developed by Marty Bochane, at the current moment Kenny Moens is the maintainer of the FSD server software.
The latest available FSD version for download is A.06c for Windows, which is unfourtunally outdated. This version is not compatible with the latest software (IvAc and IvAp).
[Download].
The newer versions of FSD, which allow internet connections, are not publically available.
A special FSD version, which only allows local area network connections, is available upon request for presentations of IVAO (e.g. showing IVAO software on a flight simulator conference) or small meetings of IVAO members that want to use IVAO software to fly locally. If you want more information about this version, please send an email to our
network administrator. Please take into account that requests are not handled every day.
The usage of IVAO FSD software to setup servers which accept internet connections is strictly forbidden.
