Horus logo gets a new look EGYPTAIR changed its identity on the 67th anniversary by introducing a new look of its logo Horus and a new livery on its aircrafts, EGYPTAIR soars into the future with a new brand image. For this it was important to change the logo to give the impression of improvement. It has to be booming instead of meek, to be younger instead of oldness, now it appears clearer and it took the eye. EGYPTAIR was written in Arabic on the engine with the suitable size so not to ignore the EGYPTAIR identity. EGYPTAIR‘s new logo is a modern vision of the golden god Horus, the king of the sky and one of the most famous gods of ancient Egypt Horus: it's the eagle that flies all over the lands and people. We choose the logo which reflects the dynamic movement and one color due to simplicity and easiness of carrying out. Blue: is the best color which can be united from three colors. white : makes it shiny and clear The god Horus was intimately connected with Kingship in ancient Egypt. From the dawn of history, the falcon was an important royal symbol It's a perfec symbol; in fact, the Egyptians in the age of the pharaohs may even have been the first people to unlock the secrets of flight. The image of Horus on the planes would inspire people to explore Egypt's ancient monuments. EGYPTAIR has been through a lot of noticeable changes over the course of its 76 years in existence. The falcon –headed Horus, ancient god of the sky revered by the Pharaohs, is an automatically identifiable symbol of the airline today, but was nonexistent as a logo before the 1970 s When the company was established 67 years ago, the only mark on EGYPTAIR planes, besides the Egyptian Kingdom's royal flag on the tail, was the company name-at that time, Misr Air Work-in both English and Arabic. The Second World War saw the Egyptian government take control of the airline, changing the name to Misr Airlines, In 1946, while the tail design was maintained, the name was changed yet again to MisrAir.In 1946, while the tail design was maintained, the name was changed yet again to MisAir, and it stayed that the way until a merger in 1960 with Syrian Airlines gave birth to United Arab Airlines. The airline then replaced the royal flag with that of the new flag of the United Arab Republic. In 1971, the creation of the first Ministry of Civil Aviation resulted in the company's development of its final identity; EGYPTAIR It dropped the flag and included the image of Horus, which through the 1980's up to this year has characterized the sleek, contemporary design that is EGYPTAIR. المصدر |
