طيران البحرين الناقل الثاني لمملكة البحرين يقوم بتدشين خط الكويت والاسكندرية ابتداء من تاريخ 31 مارس 2008. وسوف تستخدم في هاي الرحلات طائرة الايرباص 320 وسوف تكون 4 رحلات في الاسبوع للاسكندرية وتقلع من البحرين الساعة 11 مساء وتصل الى مطار النزهة في تمام الساعة 1 والنص. وللكويت 3 رحلات في الاسبوع وتقلع الساعة 10ونص صباحا.
وسوف تدشن خط البحرين - دكا بمعدل رحلتين في الاسبوع ابتداء من تاريخ 1 ابريل 2008.
وتتوقع الشركة وصول ثالث طائرة من طراز الايرباص 320 في شهر يونيو (6) .
والشركة تسير رحلتين يوميا الى دبي والدوحة و3 رحلات اسبوعيا الى دمشق ومشهد و4 رحلات اسبوعيا الى عمان بيروت.
Bahrain Air, the second air carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, will launch the first direct commercial flights to both the State of Kuwait on Sunday 30 March 2008 and to the city of Alexandria in Egypt the following day, Monday 31 March 2008, at the rate of five weekly flights, by using a fleet of Modern Airbus A320.
The tickets are competitively priced starting at 10 Bahraini Dinars (US$ 26.2) to Alexandria and Seven Dinars to Kuwait for one way trip.
The timings of the flights have been conveniently scheduled where Alexandria 4 weekly flights will be departing Bahrain at 11:00pm and arriving at 0120 early morning next day. The Kuwait 3 times weekly service will depart Bahrain at 10:30am tailored to the convenience of businessmen and families. Alexandria passengers who wish to continue their travel to Cairo, they will be able to reserve a modern comfortable salon car at competitive prices on their arrival in Alexandria El Nozha Airport.
It is noteworthy that the Bahrain Air started its commercial operation on 3rd February 2008 to Dubai International Airport. Bahrain Air currently soars regularly from Bahrain International Airport to 7 destinations, soon to be 12; Doha, Dubai a double daily flights, Damascus, Mashad 3 flights weekly and Beirut, Amman, 4 times weekly. Additional 2 weekly flights to Dhaka will be added to thenetwork effective 1 April 2008.
Currently Bahrain Air operates two modern Airbus A320 with the third one schedule to joint the fleet in June 2008. All aircraft are configured with 12 seats in the Premium Class and 150 in Economy class all fitted with comfortable leather seats. our Premium Class passengers will have access to the Business Class Lounges, ample leg space, a selection of snack and beverages and a variety of local and regional newspapers and magazine, and selection of flight entertainment programmes.
