    Egypt Air B772 near Mumbai on Dec 25th 2009, engine shut down in flight

    An Egypt Air Boeing 777-200, flight MS-960 (dep Dec 24th) from Cairo (Egypt) to Bangkok (Thailand), diverted to Mumbai (India) after the crew needed to shut down an engine as result of a technical malfunction. The airplane landed safely.

    Egyptair needed to dispatch a replacement aircraft. The passenger were taken to local hotels.
