تحطمت طائرة نفاثة من نوع سيسنا 500 شمال غرب مدينة أوكلاهوما بالقرب من مطار بريدويلي، وأفاد الناطق بإسم إدارةِ طيرانِ الفدرالي الأمريكي - أن شخصاً واحد كان على متن الطائرة - قد توفي على الفور.
كما أفاد المتحدث بأن الطائرة كانت مغادرة من مطار بريدويلي بإتجاهـ مانكاتو وقد وقعت على مسافة خمسة أميالِ جنوب غربَ المطار عند الساعة 3:15 مساءً.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — A small jet airplane crashed in a wooded area Tuesday afternoon near Wiley Post Airport in northwest Oklahoma City, and prelminary indications were that one person was killed, a Federal Aviation Administration spokesman said.
The Cessna 500 crashed about 3:15 p.m. News video from the scene Tuesday afternoon showed a small fire and the charred wreckage.
FAA spokesman Roland Herwig said the twin-engine aircraft was traveling from Wiley Post airport to Mankato, Minn., when it crashed about five miles southwest of the airport.
The aircraft was registered to Southwest Orthopedic Sports Medicine Clinic in Oklahoma City, Herwig said.
Greg Horton, an eyewitness who was fishing in Lake Overholser, told Oklahoma City television station KWTV that he saw the airplane crash and saw a fireball.
The Cessna 500 business jet can hold two pilots and at least five passengers.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — A small jet carrying a former missionary, a church deacon and three businessmen crashed in a wooded area shortly after takeoff, killing all five people aboard.
The cause is under investigation, but some witnesses said it appeared a bird was sucked into one of the Cessna 500's engines before the airplane went out of control Tuesday afternoon and crashed about 5 miles from Wiley Post Airport in Oklahoma City.
A friend identified the pilot and co-pilot as Tim Hartman of Yukon and Rick Sandoval of Weatherford. Hartman was a deacon at the South Yukon Church of Christ, while Sandoval spent 10 years as a Church of Christ missionary in Brazil before returning with his family to his western Oklahoma hometown.
United Engines, an Oklahoma City-based distributor of diesel engines, identified three other victims as Garth C. Bates Jr., the company's president; Frank M. Pool Jr., the company's vice president; and Lloyd G. Austin.
"These men connected with everyone they came in contact with on a personal level, in a way that affected us all," the company said in a statement on its website.
