AER LINGUS ATR-72 TAILSTRIKE AND GO-AROUND AT BIRMINGHAM / BHX

While waiting for Air India's B787 inaugural flight, I thought I would practice my panning on some smaller aircraft which were landing on runway 15, one of them happened to be this Aer Lingus ATR-72, and a practice shot became much more. It was quite windy this day, with winds averaging about 15MPH. On landing the aircraft bounces, and it appears that as the pilot try's to perform the go-around, the tail scrapes the runway. The aircraft later made a less dramatic safe landing. Filmed from Sheldon Country Park. 01/08/2013
