GRADUATES FIRST CLASS OF AIRLINE DISPATCHERS
FOR MIDDLE EAST AIRLINES AIRLIBAN
Daytona Beach, Florida, USA –- Phoenix East Aviation, Inc. (PEA) announces
graduation of the first group of new airline dispatchers for Middle East Airlines AirLiban
(MEA). Phoenix East Aviation initiated training 23 student airline dispatchers for
Middle East Airlines AirLiban and other Middle East airlines in February. The recent
graduation ceremonies were attended by MEA management personnel, as well as by
Ghassan Reslan, CEO of Phoenix East Aviation, headquartered in Daytona Beach,
Florida. The intense six-week training course took place in Beirut, Lebanon, at the MEA
facility and was conducted in accordance with curriculum provided by PEA, developed to
meet ICAO and Lebanese aviation authority requirements.
The next airline dispatcher course is scheduled to begin in late September. It will consist
of MEA employees, as well as student dispatchers from other airlines.
Phoenix East Aviation, Inc. provides FAA-approved, comprehensive airline dispatcher
training, as well as pilot training, for students from countries throughout the world. The
academy is also well-known internationally for its professional flight instruction in FAR
Part 141 and FAR Part 61 private, commercial and multi-engine professional programs
and courses. PEA is nationally accredited in the US and has visa form authorization by
the US State Department for M-1 and J-1 visas for international students. Headquartered
in Daytona Beach, Florida, where the climate permits flight operations 350+ days a year,
the school has been in continuous operation since 1972.
Middle East Airlines was established in 1945 with service from Beirut, Lebanon to
destinations in the Gulf. In 1963, after a merger with AirLiban, MEA added new
European, Middle Eastern and West African routes to its worldwide network.
MEA has one of the world’s most modern aircraft fleets. It consists of Airbus A330-200,
A321-200 and A320-200. It is headquartered in Beirut, Lebanon.
