Game Info:
ANNO is the strategy game that lets the player raise monumental cities and develop an idealized historical empire:
• Because a functional empire requires careful building, fulfilling citizen’s needs and the expansion of boundaries
• Because key gameplay elements as seafaring & colonizing islands require a historical setting
• Because ANNO features a deep economy, a wide game world and a dynamic gameplay which continuously challenge the players’ strategical management skills

The game was ported with the newest known Cider-Wrapper from the Demo of Freaky Creatures.
But it´s very easy to change the game to your own native language:
1.) Dot´t start up the game before you had changed it to your native language
(If you accidentally started Anno 1404 you had to trash the Preferences File of the Game
You find the Preferences of Anno 1404 at
Your HD/your User-Folder/Library/Preferences)
2.) Right click the ANNO 1404.App to show the Package Contents then open all red marked folders until you find the maindata folder of the game:
Contents/Resources/transgaming/c_drive/Program Files/ANNO 1404/maindata
3.) Change/Rename my german language file ger0.rda to ger0.rda_old and rename your language file to only dot rda
- example for english Users -> ger0.rda_old and -> eng0.rda
- example for french Users -> ger0.rda_old and -> fra0.rda ………..etc.
4) Close all open Folders and startup ANNO 1404
iMac, screen resolution 1900×1200 and graphic settings set on medium. –> Great performance!
MacBook, screen resolution 1280×800 and graphic settings set on medium. –> Great performance!
