Hello all,

Since our division status has been changed officially to “Active” in IVAO on Tuesday 16 September, 2014, we are so glad to invite you to our opening ceremony on Thursday 9 October, 2014. All flights (inbound / outbound / domestic / international) are more than welcome in the Sudanese airspace. The event will start at 1700z and will last five hours till 2200z.

About downloads, most of the Sudanese airports in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2004/X) differ a lot from the real ones, and even some of them are not valid for aviation. However, most of the necessary files like sceneries, AFCADs (FSX only), charts and quickviews are available on our official website (https://su.ivao.aero/) in the “Resources” section. We recommend all the participating pilots to download the sceneries and AFCADs especially.

All participants will get the aviation celebration tours and events award. In addition, they will get two points for the pilot events award if they do more than one flight. To get the award and the points, the pilot should send an email containing his flight reports to the division director, Ramy Kamal, and his email is ([email protected]). For those who will do more than one flight, their names must be listed on this page (https://ivao-sd.net/pilot/points). If they are not listed in 48 hours, the pilot has to contact me on ([email protected]). Also, if the pilot does not get awarded in 48 hours, he/she has to resend his/her report to Ramy or me.
