BOISE -- The sole survivor of a tragic plane crash in McCall earlier this month underwent his third surgery this week.
Three-year old Tyler Pickering was badly burned when his grandfather's plane collided with another as the two pilots attempted to land at the same time.
Tyler has been in a Salt Lake City intensive care burn unit for nearly a month.
His parents say he will likely stay there for at least two more weeks as he recovers from his third skin graft surgery. He is still in critical condition.
Tyler’s one-year-old and six-year-old brothers were killed in the crash, as well as his grandfather.
Jennifer and Chris Pickering returned to Idaho from Salt Lake City today in order to pick out a burial site for the other sons.
The funeral service for Dylan and William Pickering and their grandfather, Bill Keating, will take place Saturday, June 7, at the Mountain Life Church in McCall.
Because of Tyler’s out-of-state medical care, the funeral was delayed until the family felt it could all be together.

McCALL - Three people are dead after a two-plane collision at the McCall Airport Friday evening.
Emergency personnel were dispatched to a collision between two Cessna single engine aircraft.
When emergency crews arrived, both aircraft were fully engulfed in flames.
The pilot of one of the planes, Bill Keating, 52, of McCall and two of his grandchildren were found dead at the scene of the crash.
Justin Mooney was the pilot of one of two planes that collided on the ground at the McCall airport Friday night. An otherwise ordinary landing quickly took a dramatic – and deadly turn.
“We were about 30 feet off the ground and then all of a sudden there was just this huge noise," Mooney said.
Holding back tears, Justin Mooney describes the reality of a moment most could only imagine.
It was cold and nearing dusk as he landed his plane at the small McCall airport on Friday night. At the same time, another pilot was doing the exact same thing.
The two planes smashed into one another and exploded
