      لكورس ، يعطيك الاتجاه الحقيقي للمدرج بالضبط
      لذلك يجب وضع الرقم الذي تأخذه من خارطة الهبوط في المدرج

          Yes it is, in case you need to go around (missed approach) the autopilot will hold the aicraft on runway heading.

          And if your talking about the HSI Course, you do need to set it for ILS landings. in order to have the aircraft inline with the runway
